I am currently reading 'The Comforts of a Muddy Saturday' by Alexander McCall Smith and in this novel McCall Smith poses a question to not only a character but also the reader, the question is:
'what would happen if a mysterious virus was to wipe out everybody older than the age of four, leaving the world to infants and toddlers?... would we learn what everything was for?...or would we have to invent things all over again?... and what about music notation?...would we eventually work out what musical scores meant if we had nothing to base our knowledge on?'
i found this a very interesting question that really made me think, if anyone at all is reading this blog i would love to hear what you think...

Nicole Richie is my ultimate syle icon, her relaxed boho-chic style and her effortlessly cool outfits make her the envy of women from all around the world... and she just keeps getting better with her jewlery- turned- accessory line 'House of Harlow' and clothing line 'Winter Kate'

imagine
It's amazing to think that it has been millions of years since man first lived on earth, and to think of yourself as merely one person who has ever lived here on earth, imagine the world through the eyes of billions, even trillions of others, imagine how our world, cultures and societies have changed immensely over the years, decades, centuries and millenniums, and yet we are still today discovering new things. Imagine what it will be like in the future if we have come this far already... how will things have changed? Will we be living on the moon or other planets? Will we be living underwater? Will humans even exist or will robots take over from us? The possibilities are truely endless and only time will tell...

under the sea
To quote Sebastian from The Little Mermaid:
Under the sea
Under the sea
Darling it's better
Down where it's wetter
Take it from me
Up on the shore they work all day
Out in the sun they slave away
While we devotin' Full time to floatin'
Under the sea
I often think about what life under the sea would be like... How completely different it'd be from life here on land, imagine waking up everyday with beautiful fish and corals surronding you... isnt it amazing to think that one day it could happen?
